At what RPMs will a chippped 1.8T really get going?
Haven't chipped my 2001.5 A4 1.8T, Q,Tip, ESP yet but plan to really soon. Only have 2000 miles so far on her. When chipped, while driving normally will I notice the increase in HP and torque? Do I need to drive a little more spirited to know the chip is there? At what RPMs does the chip really start to show itself? Also, at what RPMs does the turbo start to work? Both in stock and chipped the same? Thanks all. I know I have a lot of questions but I'm nes to this modding stuff.

w/GIAC, sweet spot is about 3k RPM, than it takes off...normal driving it is almost undetectable...
unless you are revving higher than 3k...which most people do...
I typically shift at 3k and the car acts like it did stock. when i shift aat 4k with the GIAC it feels like i'm cutting the engine off right before its about to launch off...
