205/60-16 or 205/65-15 I have a set of super-clean 15" 2001 B5 rims for like a buck fiddy.
The ones that are like 6 wide spokes that are fluted to look twin-spokers with the nice chrome center cap w/rivets. They have so few miles on them, they still have the original Goodyear RS-A on. No curbs.

15" shoot me an email mine don't clear my BBK. 195/65/15 FTMFW!!! I know snow:)
Tires on the wheels are "Winterforce" with 5k on them

Does not seem big enough to carry the car's weight well and deal w/ice rutted roads & potholes.
At speed on the highway, forget it. Smaller size likely will wear poorly too.
