What size tires should I choose for 18x8.5 ET 38 wheel. 225/40R18 or 235/40R18?

the 225's will be closer to the right diameter for our cars....

Achtuning. The weight is about 24.5lbs.

225 will stretch on 8.5 i have them on my 8'' so do the math then
.5 inches is roughly 13mm so you would want to get a 240 if you can to have no stretch thats a kinda odd tires size so 245 will rub/bulge big time and 235 will only stretch a lil bit. and dont forget that brands do matter here. some sidewalls are bigger than others regardless of what they say
