Default What speakers do y'all recomend for the passenger cabin???
and in a conservative price range.
and what size are the rears and what size are the fronts?

Don't remember the sizes, but I'd definitely reccomend anything from Polk Audio. They are consistantly rated in the top 5 best car speaker systems, but for some reason are not as well known as one might hope.

Their $150/pair sets are comparable to $300/pair Blaupunkts in every car stereo review I've found so far (As long as you get the two-peice, which you need for your Audi anyway).

I don't believe you about fitting 5.25" speakers in the front... The back I'd believe.

5.25" speakers do fit in the front doors. Installed a pr. a few months ago in mine.

Focal speakers are some of the best, dont get fooled by ghetto speakers which are all about spl....

Default I will second that...just installed a set of Focal 5.25 components in the front and Focal 6.5 ..
in the rear....it makes a world of difference.

I did the same sizes but used Infinity Kappas. Much fuller sound than before. =)
