I think my exhaust is leeking. It doesn't sound as before, it's much lounder but not deeper. When i press the throttle, and kick it, I hear a strange noise, it's like air wistling. Weired!!! Also the car doesn't pulls as stronger as before. What you guys think?

Before the sound was deeper. Now it became louder and if it's like wistling or something.

I had a few exhaust leaks on my Honda due to broken exhaust manifolds. Everytime it made my car sound like a go-cart. The sounds became less noticeable the more I drive because the metal expanded and made the leak smaller. Take it to an exhaust shop, and should be able to tell you immediately.

Forgive my ignorance, but all I have to do is check the joint of the pipes for any leaks??

Thanks, i'll do that this friday, i'll try to sneak out of work, or take a 2 hours lunch brake Any ideas on how much it could cost?
