Default What tires to get?

I currently have Yokohama DB7 225/40/18's that are in dire need of replacement. I am looking for a tire that has excellent wet/dry traction and is rated for high speeds (up to 160 at least...to be safe).

What do you guys think of the Yokohama Parada Spec-2?

Default Got feed back about the Paradas a few nights ago....

The feed back was very NEGATIVE..stay away.
Get the Bridgestones RE750's. Very nice tire, that's my next set. Tire rack has them for $150 each.
and why do u need tires up to 160mph? Your audi will never *sniff* past 150mph...no?

I've been looking into tires myself I came up with this short list:

- Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position
- Michelin Pilot Sport PS2
- Bridgestone Potenza RE-750
- Dunlop SP Sport 9090

They are also listed in the order of preference. The S0-3's and PS2's are very close, as for the SP9090 and the RE-750 it would be to save a couple of $$.

You are correct sir, but having tires rated at speeds higher than I will travel makes me feel safe.

Default Falken Azenis ST115...i've heard great reviews and that's my next set 235/40/18...

I have the parada spec 2s right now. It's not too bad...much improved over the spec 1. I'm not gonna track the car with the 18s so i'm planning to get a quietier summer tire and the ST115 seems to suit my needs...good price too.
