Default 5x112, offset 35-45, 195/65/15, 205/55/16, 225/45/17 (or 18s, if lowered b/c it'll look funny w/o)

Default If he's running sport suspension 18s would be fine.
My car looks decent with 18s but will look much better with coilovers and lowered (obviously).

Buy good tires now from tirerack.com - then save for other things. That's what I would do
