Try the Kumho MX and you'll have money left over for other mods too :-)
It's quickly becoming a favorite tire for street/track use. It will stick like the megabuck tires, for 30% less. I've had them and S03's, and they have basically equivalent performance, even on the track, and the MX wears better, is quieter, and has a softer sidewall, so the ride isn't so brutal.

I'm considering Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 or BF Goodrich KDW2
Both are tires that offer great dry grip. GSD3 has absolutely awesome wet grip, KDW2 does ok in the wet. I'm attracted to these two since they offer top notch performance in dry, but have a higher treadwear rating than the other stand bys (S03, pilot sport, MX, etc)
