Make sure your tires can handle the increased speed before you do a high speed run!

Default I don't think any mods (with the exception of a new gearbox) will increase the top end

but if you find the need to drive faster then 140 MPH you've got bigger problems

Default Increasing HP will increase top end...

At lower speeds, torque is more important than HP. When speeds increase to the point that wind drag is significant, more HP will result in a higher top speed.

Default No, gearing determines top end.....

You could have 1000hp on tap, but if you're running a 4.11:1 final gear ratio (like what you'd use in a street/drag racer) you'll be redlined at 80mph.

Default If you have a rev limiter or don't want to exceed redline, yes...

Otherwise, you will reach a point where the force provided by the engine is equal to the wind drag and you can't go any faster. Reducing the drag or increasing the force provided by the engine (HP) will result in a higher speed.
