What is a Transmission Range Switch and what does it do?
I got mine replaced today ($575 with labor) and well, my car seems to shift much smoother and the ride is much nicer. I'm REALLY curious as to what this switch does and if I am right that it would cause a better ride.
Nobody seems to have heard of it and the dealer has only a few isolated cases (I forgot to ask him what this does).
