Default Can you explain "spider webs" to me? I'm unfamiliar with that term.

I use a sponge or sheepskin mitt to wash my car. I dry with cotton towels. Been wondering if I should go back to using a chamois.

Default If you have a dark color car you want to run the water under the wash mit

while you wash the car. This will keep a nice film of water under the mit so you will not get the scratchs that you see now.

Default It really doesnt. You will just see the scratchs more on a dark color.

The scratchs are caused by the dirt that you are washing off. I stays on the wash mit or what ever you are using. So if you keep running water on the car at the time the wash mit will be using the water to rub the dirt off the car and the dirt will not stay on the wash mit.
