What would be the symptoms of a wheel bearing....

...that was going south? Never having this happen I was just curious as to what I might hear/feel, etc.

you'll hear some humming from the wheel which will grow louder as

you turn or go around corners and put a load on that wheel at speed.

groaning/moaning from the offending wheel, play in the hub if you jack the car up

and wobble the wheel.
