I've heard bad things happen when you supercharge an S2000.

Bad things can happen to any car when you run more power through it.

of course, but I've heard the S2K engine is prone to damage when supercharged.

Default This is the common **** people say when S2000 is the subject.

I am comparing S2000 to TT. Have you driven a S2000? I personally do not have any problem keeping the revs high and IMO S000 is in another league than the pathetic looking, heavy and weak TT. S2000 is a track ready car. Now that there are turbo kits are coming into market, it is turning into a different animal. As for your comment above about the reliability, you would need high rev clutch drops to launch without bogging and that is what breaks the LSD when supercharger is added. On the roll, this is not a concern and turbo kits got rid of the problem of launcing with high rev drops. It is a personal preference but if you have not driven one yet and don't mind keeping the car in high revs, I highly recommend it. That is what I am getting once I am working.

Default I've not heard that....i guess i don't really see how either.

The guy here in town who has one has been running it for a year and a half now i think. Granted, he does not have the kit i gave the link to, but he is running about 6psi i believe. I know the thing has no tq...but as soon as he launches at 6000rpms (ha ha ha) he closes the 4 car gap i open up on the launch and passes me in 2nd gear hahah. He stops by about 7000-7500k in 3rd...when he is a good 10 cars on me it seems. I'm guessing he is running a low 13 here, at 6000ft. Its one sweet ride.

Default As much as I like the TT, if I were buying a roadster, I would get the S2000

That is, if i couldn't afford a Boxster S (which, incidentally, I can't afford anyway!)
