What would you rather have, a 225 TT or an S2000?

Both are completely different beasts
The TT is a heavy porker and not much of a sports car on a track or autocross...it has ample low engd grunt provided by its twin turbos. Quattro gives it predictable handling, and all weather abilities. Incredible interior, unique exterior.
The S2000 is the closest thing in America to a track car (too bad the Lotus Elise does not come here) it is light, it is highstrung, it has a 8k redline, and no low end torque. Ordinary people don't understand it, and its their fault. It is not some cute car for a secretary, its a machine that has to be thrashed in a way no ordinary person would drive, to appreciate. That is the reason why so many are sold off after a year of ownership. Handsome exterior, acceptable, spartan interior.
Drive it around town and you will think its a slug...which it is. Take it to a track, or an autocross, and you will experience knife-sharp engine, transmission, and suspension response that the Japanese truly excel at.
Which choice? Well, if i get to keep my current cars that would mean i have a inclement car, so i would get the S2000 because it would be a summer machine, and nothing beats a ragtop in the summer. But the TT is enjoyable, tuneable, and useable year round.
If i get to keep both my cars, then id probably get the TT since my Miata is my sports car. the TT is a great GT in a 2 seat configuration, and would be a nice cruise missle like the S4.
Cheers

Add a turbo or supercharger to that engine, and the transmission is the LEAST of your problems.
Guy in town has or should I say HAD a new Civic SI supercharged by Jackson Racing. Car ran fine for about six months, then he destroyed a piston, now he has something other than a Honda. S2000 is a great car, but I wouldn't force feed it. 11.5:1 NA pistons don't do so well when subjected to even 6 psi of boost. Don't believe me, go over to ANY of the Honda forums and ask.
For the money, wait a year and pick up an RX8.

I have a friend with a supercharged '99 VTEC civic...
8 psi last i heard...he has been running that for a while now, 2 seasons ago i am thinking...he has not had one problem...in fact, his best friend with a 2000 VTEC Civic is going to put the very same JRSC on his car...since the outcome of it has been so great.
