Default No pic but I have Saris racks

One big plus, the rack collapses (folds relatively flat) for more aerodynamic profile when not in use.

Go to www.saris.com (I think).

Default A recommendation for YAK rack owners

they tend to rust out from the inside out. Go to local bike store and ask for frame saver (for old steel frames) or find it online.

This is a product used to coat the inside of steel frames to prevent this issue.

you can fit 4 boards on a rack. 2 upside down (with smaller bindings) and 2 rightside up.

Default a friend who works at a rack shop got me a deal on it

Can't remember exactly how much it all was but I'm fairly sure it was under $300 when it should have cost a lot more, the box I got brand new for free as well

Default I like it a lot, works really well

Personally I ski but I'm always taking people with me who snowboard but we can fit three boards and and my skis no problem. You could fit four boards in there too, just one on top of the other.

Default To me the whole point of an Avant is not using a roof rack......

If it can't fit IN the car, it goes on my trailer.
