What's the best short shifter?
#6
B&M is really nice if you have a NEWER "plastic ball joint">>
I have the B&M, it's a great shifter, only one problem I am having:
the B&M uses the existing (OEM) ball/joint mechanism that is responsible for "slop" mostly LEFT to RIGHT.
-if your shifter doesnt have much slop, you should be fine.
-if your shifter has a lot of slop, you may want to BUY this ball/joint peice from the dealership and have it installed with your short shifter.
All of this said, the NEUSPEED short shifter is the MOST expensive, BUT it has it's own joint mechanism, that replaces the OEM, virtually emiminating ALL "slop", which is made out of metal.
