Emblem tape/double sided tape/bubble gum.

I know this would be kind of ridiculous... But has anyone ever thought about putting strong magnets

In the badges? Easy on/off, plus you could get some practice for installing magnetic flames on the side of your a4...

Not ridiculous at all. I've got a quattro badge (old school, of of my 80q)...

which has magnets on the back.. The only problem is, if it moves, it can scratch the paint.
