Default What's better value? Milltek exhaust. or APR cat-back?

For my FWD I dont have very many options, so I will have to spend mucho dinero for my exhaust.
Options:
Milltek no downpipe - 830 /shipping incl./
APR with downp - 899 /free shipping/
Which one is easier to install, what would be your take?

Default Miltek has a downpipe

You have to ask for the Passat 1.8T FWD version.
Fits perfect.

Default I am pretty sure that Downpipes are a bitch.

but then again its nice to get a larger one in there.

I say Bite the bullet on install and Go APR.

Or just get a quattro ;-)

Im sure more info can be found using Beta Search=V

Default the easier one to install is any without a DP....

i prefer milltek maybe I'm biased
but both are quality products...millteks will be a little quieter than the APR which is what I think is in line with an audi...it shouldn't be loud like rice. But I really think you need a downpipe...it will help with the spooling of the turbo (should increase it like an extra 300rpms quicker) and getting good flow all the way out.
I would really say go with Milltek and the DP and if IIRC i think thats around 950.

But if thats your budget at least get the one with the DP...it will be more benefical to you.

Default My decision was between these two...

I went APR for a couple of reasons, one being that 2.5" is more than enough for any turbo I'll put in, the second being that I got a deal on it. I've heard and seen both, sound difference is minimal. The APR system sounds really good and the fit and quality was perfect. That said, the polished mufflers are pointless and the tips stick out a bit more than a Milltek. I personally like the milltek tips better as they are more flush to the valence, I think that this is due to the shorter bumper on euro cars. If you have an APR dealer near you, ask if they can help out on price. Also FWIW, with Milltek you're paying for the poor euro exchange rate and overseas shipping.

Quick Reply: What's better value? Milltek exhaust. or APR cat-back?
