Default Ko4 is more responsive at lower rpm's, but will do almost nothing on your car...

See my post a few down, maybe by the bottom of the page about the ATP kits and the reply via email I got from them. The gt2x sounds really good. Take a look at the dyno sheets on the ATP website of the gt2x compared to a K04, it's pretty close at low rpm's and kills it as it revs higher by a long shot.

The over boost issue is only with the K04 on the 2001 A4.

Default The gains of a K04 vs. X-Chip are minimal at best though (10 whp at most) from the dyno's I've seen.

I looked into this long and hard and have kept up with most of the post related to this, since I have an 01.5'. I could be off here, but I don't think I am. Your one of the most knowlegable people on here, so please correct me if I am wrong on this other factor here.
