Default Whats the going rate for a stereo system install?

I'll probably wind up installing it myself but since I'll be working this summer I'll have money to spend, if its not to expendsive I'd rather have someone else install it. I would be having a new headunit, front and rear speakers and an amp installed...any guesses?

Default Super easy to do yourself. Don't let a hack job go down like BestBuy installs!

I installed mine, very simple. Buy the dash install kit and harnesses for HU wiring and antenna and you are set. Mount the amp under the rear deck or directly on your box if you have one. It's all super simple to install.

I used the following purchased at cardomain.com:

Stereo install kit: Scosche AU2300
wiring harness: Scosche VW01
Antenna adapter: Scosche VWA3

Default yeah I know, I've installed them before

but if I could have it installed for $200 I might rather do that. No way would I ever go to BestBuy to have them install stuff. I guess I'll just give the local shop on monday

Default It was so simple to install though, not even worth paying $200.

The HU install took minutes literally. I already had a box and amp ready. The only thing that took about 30 min. was running the power wire and RCA's from the battery and headunit to the amp. If you know how, you should not even be considering having someone else do it. If I can avoid someone else having my precious, I will. =-)

Default 1 sub wouldnt be so bad to do but I want to have all 4 speakers done plus a sub

The last time I put one in it took me like 8 hours. I just have a feeling I wont be in the mood to fish wires and such, but we'll see.
