Default i believe so

I dont think any of them will sound different from the other one. I think it just depends on how many subs you are planning to run.

Default WAY too bright, epsecially on an A4 using stock tweeter location.

Skabaru is running my old set, and agrees with me too.

Try some other setups.

Default There is no audible sonic differences

There ARE debates as to how ohm loads effect sound, but it's bogus in my opinion. No ones human ears can tell the dif in a 1ohm sub setup or a 4ohm.

With that in mind, the "D" in a JL sub model signifies DUAL, the # signifies the ohm load of the coil

D2 = Dual 2 ohm coils. Which means TWO coils at 2 ohms each. Parallel the coils for 1 ohms, series for 2 ohms

D4=Dual 4
D6=Dual 6

You pick the sub based on the # you plan to run and the amp setup.
