Default What's involved in replacing heater core hoses?

I tracked down a coolant leak. It's coming out of one of the heater core hoses that comes out of the back of the block. The hose is bloated right on the other side of the clamp and you can see the coolant dripping out when the engine runs. Anyone know what's involved in replacing these hoses? Do I have to pull the dash to get at the heater core?

Thanks

Default I believe an arm, leg and first born.

Rip most of the dash /center console apart for starters.

Oh boy! I was hoping it would be something like that!

Perhaps splicing in a section of heater hose might be a better solution.

Default Are you talking about the rubber heater hose or the heater core pipes?

Changing the heater hoses is easy, the heater core is way more fun.
