What's the lowest setting for A4 H&R coilovers not to rub with ET +35mm wheels running S03s?

This is my winter project: find the lowest setting that is aesthetically pleasing to me that won't rub when I put my 17" RS4 Type wheels (ET +43mm) mounted with new 225/45/17 S03s back on after winter. I am running 8mm hubcentric H&R spacers to make it ET +35mm. At this point, I don't want to roll the fenders, but I will if necessary to go below the current settings, which I can only guestimate with finger gaps at: 2 Front/1.5 Rear.
RKA, do you know my current settings on the c/o themselves, since they're at the same settings that you used on your A4 H&R c/o?
Random pic to increase views :-) Why you should carry an extra set of pads to the track:

Tough one...
Lets just say I had a pretty aggressive drop on mine with my Parada tires and no major rubbing...
So then a few weeks ago I put on S03's and major rubbing...my wheel offset is 32...225/40/18 tire...we raised the height the other night...it is now Front 25" 5/16 and Rear 25" 3/4...I'm still getting rubbing at the front when I push it...looks like I'll have to go higher again...

the threads! Here are Ben's coilovers with a one finger gap all around. He did some further adjustments to raise them a bit to prevent rubbing with his P zero Rosso's. After he made those adjustments, he sold the coilovers to you, and I assume you didn't mess with the height (yet)? His rubbing was mild with the height set as shown in the pics below. I don't think he ever touched metal, but I think he rubbed the liner a bit. Bear in mind the Rosso's are narrower than the same size S03's.

it in March/April. That's what I was afraid of. I was hoping someone already did this and would have the rough settings (since mine will vary a little bit according to weight per corner).

Your wheel never gonna hit the fender.
I had same rim and tire set on my old car..with 1/2 finger gap in front..tires rub only wheel liner slightly..Tires doesnt stick out far enough to touch the fender..
But it is a totally different story with those wheel spacer...

I have stock 17" Celebrations on my S4, with a Stasis coilover suspension. I rubbed last weekend. It's entirely possible, depending on how low you go. One unique thing with the Stasis kit is that the shocks are set up to be very soft if the piston speed increases. So the Stasis shocks will allow the wheel to travel more, whereas an H&R set up will not allow so much travel. Even with the beefier spring rates, the Stasis kits require more clearance.
All of this is a moot point though. Silver Streakin subscribes to the Pontiac school of thought..."wider is better"! The spacers stay! :-P

I would sort out your minimum height with those tires/wheels/spacers first. Once you nail down the minimum height, THEN give the car to John for the corner balancing, and tell him IF he needs to adjust up front, he has to go UP, not down because of the fender clearance.
To do this, you may have to postpone your corner balancing until one month AFTER you've reinstalled your summer wheels, so you'll have time to sort out your minimum height.
