What's this Noise?
The other day I noticed a noise that sounded like it came from behind the dash only when I started or stopped the car. Then I found out that if I push down on the front of the car (either the driver or passenger side) I can hear the noise. The noise sounds like it's coming from between the motor and the firewall and seems to only be really noticeable when it's very hot outside. A few days we've had like high 80s to high 90s here and I can really hear it then, especially if I'm driving for a while. Some days we've had cooler weather and I can still hear the noise, it's just not as loud as the hotter days. I'm assuming the reason I hear it when I start or stop is because the weight is shifting and it's technically the same as me pushing down on the front of the car.
Does anybody have any idea what this could be?
Thanks for the input

Re: what "kind" of noise is it?
OH yeah I guess that would help huh?
It's kind of hard to explain, but best thing I can come up with is like a "creaky" noise. Something you'd hear on an old car. It's not a grind, or a pop, kind of sounds like a car that has blown shocks or something. But it's not near the shocks so I don't think it could be that.
