Default depends on your suspension and wheel offset... i run 225/40 S03's on a 18x8.5 et 35 wheel w/no rub'n

but others with lower ride heights have rubbed with the same width + tires.

Default i have stock sport suspension..what do ya think?

the reason im askin is because Angryalex has 18.8's and his 225's dont protect the rims, in fact the rims kind of stick out from the tires. If im going to get some new wheels, i would like the tires to keep the rims protected a bit =D

would 225's on SSR comps keep the rims protected enough from curb rash? thx

Default I run 235/40/17s on my 17x8s... so maybe 245? 255 is probably too wide...

I am low...

klimekt was running 245/40/17. whether it'll rub or not depends on your rims' offset, too.

and maybe that was because the tires were pretty worn out. Are your new tires the same size?

Default U know, I thought the same thing so I chickened out and went with 225/45s on the HTR+

but looking closer only the sidewalls were close to rubbing, not the thread. I might have to go back to 245/40 on my next set - it sure looked cool
