Default Heat........bad...........humidity........goood!

We all know that heat is bad for turbos, I think unless your car ingests water, humidity is a good thing. (Don't some muscle car guys put water vapor injectors in the intakes of their cars?)

Default Heat or Humidity ???

Drag racers added water vapour to their air-fuel mixture to reduce the intake temperature. Lower temperatures increase the air density. Higher density means more Oxygen, this leads to better combustion and hence more power.

I'm not sure on what effects humidity has on performance. But I always feel that in the mornings when it's cold and damp the engines got more pull.

I hope this helps
