Default for alternators call around brick and mortar stores, if there is a problem
last thing you want is to send it off and lose the car for 2 weeks. also autozone sometime has alternators cheaper.

Default I just ordered the 8/1997 O2 sensor from them for $81 shipped
Can't beat that price anywhere, except for universal sensors.

sure it was OE VW/Audi? alot of times they show alternate/aftermarket parts as well.

As long as it's 100% identical part, and the shipping terms are the same or better. The price match link are tricky to find tho.
