nope, axim is PXA250 cpu (XScale). "be patient" as the website says. =)

Default Here's an explanation...

Basically, it crosses signal wires over so that two devices (mainly PCs) can communicate directly with each other. Your PocketPC and Vag cable have signals that would run into each other if you connected them directly to each other (think of two trains running directly into each other on one of the train tracks).

The null modem acts as a crossover so the trains don't collide (one train would be sent to the other track. Sorry, it's the best I can do. I'm too tired to answer in better detail.<ul><li><a href="http://www.nullmodem.com/NullModem.htm">Null Modem</a></li></ul>

You still need a Vag-Com cable from Ross-Tech or equivalent to interface with the car.

Heh. I want a Bluetooth interface for my 56xx (might be some security concerns though :-)

Default 56xx? or 54xx? hehe. actually, don't laugh, i heard someone actually DID put bluetooth in...

...their audi. dunno the details, but when his bluetooth phone rings, it mutes the radio and switches to handsfree somehow. crazy geeky cool.

$249 and came with a free arkon universal vent clip pda mount. which i promptly swapped the vent clip for arkon's hard-mount 1" pedestal attached to a pro-fit VSM bracket.
