Well, it looks like I counted my chickens too early. It went 20 miles (to and from work) and the sensor didn't malfunction, but the next day (today) went right back to acting erratic. I'm about to act erratic myself.

The only thing I didn't change out was the rotor, I guess that's next. I did notice when I push the sensor in all the way it makes contact with about half of the ring as it goes around, as if the ring isn't at a perfect right angle to the sensor. It IS seated squarely on the rotor. I'm getting frustrated. I may swap the rotor from right to left, and see if it migrates.

Any other ideas anyone?
