but if the rolling diameter is the same there should be no harm. As to the n0yxl newbie telling me i'm a dumbass, Lol. I hope he rotates his tires every 500 miles otherwise he's damaging his AWD system.

such an expert in your owners manual, find for me where it states even 1% will cause the system to constantly compensate, and where this will lead to damage.

In the "Vehicle Care" chapter it states: "Vehicles with quattro must always have tires of the same size, construction, and tread type."
In the "Driving with your quattro" chapter:
section; "Replacing wheels/tires"
"All four wheels must always have the same rolling radius. Different tires on the front and rear wheels may impair vehicle control and will damage the All Wheel Drive because of the constantly different wheel speeds. The proper fuction of the system is not affected by unevenly worn tires."
