Default KO3 makes max boost, i believe, at 2300 rpm, its a small turbo...

that spools quickly, and runs out of steam at 5500rpm.

Cheers

Default Since the peak torque is achieved between 1950 and 5000 RPM, I would assume...

that the turbo kicks in even below 1950. Stickerboy may be right with his 1800s.

Default by 2300 even the T-28 has .5bar boost.....

if a ko3 isint making full (stock) boost by then the car most likely has a problem...

Default Not a peak, more of a plateau...

KO3 hits max boost at 2300
KO4 hits max boost at 2600
T-28 hits max boost at ???
GT-25 hits max boost at ???

I want to say i heard CMH say the T-28 hits max boost at 3600 rpm...but i cannot cite a specific post.

The turbo will make its boost all along that given rev range...peak suggests there is one points where the boost is maximized, when in actuality (so i understand) there is a boost plateau from a given range (2300-5500 for a KO3 @ 14.7 psi, for instance) Past 5500 the KO3 is beyond its effeciency range and cannot really produce significant boost.

Cheers
