No because they wont open it up if they see it is a stock chip on a vag. They only open up the ecu
if they think there is something wrong with it or they think your car is making more power then it should be.

Your welcome. Just shows you how fast people will say you got scammed without reading any of the
facts. All the GIAC dealers charge $50 to burn a chip with a stock program or to put the stock chip on a board for you so you can switch between it and your new GIAC chip.

If he looks he will notice the socket anyway (w/ or w/o a sticker) so it really doesn't matter....
My stock chip has a sticker on it with a handwritten message reading, "Stock 2001 1.8t"
Or something like that... I have yet to use it...
