when ordering the 2.8q ultimate TB kit from ECS, is it neccessary to change cam shaft seals....
and cam shaft seals? this is what a mechanic told me. but i dont see it listed at ECS. any ideas?

They leak all the time
Replace them if they are. Replacement of the cam seal requires removal of the cam sprocket. Doing them when doing the TB is a good idea, as you have to loosen the cam sprockets anyway. Change the valve cover gasket and cam tensioner gaskets as well if you're going to do the cam seals.

you can do the fronts without removing the cams.
carefully drive a screw into them and pull.
press the new ones in with a big enough socket and a BFH.
We did that on a 2.7TT during a TB job.
