with a google search about putting it in when the engine is warm, beating on the car for a couple of minutes and then draining it and putting in fresh oil. I tried that once.

I have an A4 turbo that is older than all your cars. It is coming on 9 years in fact, and I have not done any of this clean out shyte you guys mention. I have used the synthetic Techron. I have also used synthetic oil and OEM filters from the first oil change on. My car does not seem to need that SeaFoam stuff. If I did want to put something in, it would be the Bilstein R2000 or AutoRx. But anyway, for the SeaFoam lovers..here is your linky to a tutorial. That is all.

It's been used for years, supposed to free up any stuck rings, clean oil journals, and loosen up sludge deposits. Should not hurt anything if you're smart about it.

and I was told that it was the first A4 1.8T in the US. So far, that has proven to be true. But..the car is not worth anything extra because of that fact. And I have been around for a long time..don't go by this user ID..I've had many. I first found Jet's A4 Page a few weeks after I got my car. I owe much credit to that website along with A4.org for providing information to me back then.

how sure are you that you saw a few turbo A4's at your one dealership back then? Are you an original owner? If so, it's good to see another owner that kept his as long. Mine has 62K...I don't drive the A4 all the time. I drive a few other cars. I will never sell the A4.
