When will new style a4 come out?

does any one know when a redesigned a4 will come out? Theres nothing wrong with the current one but i'm just wondering

As early as 2002 as Europeans will get their new 2nd generation A4 is around mid-2001

I am from Italy and I asked the Audi dealer for the new A4 model.
He said that depends on the sales: if the actual model was appreciate for a long time, the new will wait more.
