when you turn your car off, but keep the key in, shouldn't the radio stay on?.....
i thought mine used to, now when i turn the car off and leave the key in, the radio turns off. I push in the key, and it turns on.

Your switch is getting loose, that's all. When you turn the key off, but don't pull it out,
the inner mechanism is still 'IN'. Since it's worn a little, it seems like it's coming a little out, breaking the contact withe the switch.. Just a hunch. My wife's 96 does the same thing.
