ECS Tuning wants $8 bucks for that BIG oil drain plug on early model A4 1.8Ts where as the smaller drain plug is only $1 something.

Can those of us with the big plugs buy it from somewhere else for significantly cheaper?

It's about $12 from the dealer.
We offer them also for around $8, though I don't have them in stock.

If you want the cheap drain plug, the oil pan only runs around $130 ;-P
