normal bulbs look kinda yellow when the get lit up..so the super whites, i think, make it look more like a pure white light.

Default I was researching the same thing..

They are not yet DOT approved. Osram/Sylvania makes them, but they are not available for the US yet (why do we ALWAYS get the shaft??). I'm trying to get my hands on some, but it's a more difficult task than I had originally bargained for. If you're interested, the bulbs are called 'diadem' bulbs.

Default The issue is visability, white light in daytime is much harder to see than yellow or orange!!

Especially if the white light is now on the side of the car emitting a small beam.

Also when they do an inspection on you car every year, you'll have to replace them each time with the yellow or orange ones. PITA if you ask me.

Just leave it unplugged if you guys are that worried about a yellow beam emitting from you clear corner markers you can't see anyway.

Default seen a few bimmer 3 series/M3 w/ clear corners...

and blinked yellow, but it could be that their corners weren't really clear. they could've been frosted over to cover the bulb.

Default I might have good news....maybe.....

I also emailed Osram about the white lights that blink orange, but have not received a reply. Then i noticed how on my cell phone, I have a Nokia antenna that lights up blue when i receive a call. It uses a clear bulb. I emailed the maunfacturer and they are researching whether this type of bulb can be used for signal lights, and if they can make the correct size etc. etc. So far that is all Ive gotten....
