Where can i buy brake pads and rotors for cheap!
Audi diagnosed my car saying that my brake pads and rotors were worn down already and need to be replaced. They quoted me $1000 !! for the job !! oh my god!!! I though since i have to change them, might as well upgrade to performance brake pads... where can i buy good cheap pads...cheap meaning cheaper than buying them from the dealer!! And also why would my rotors have to be replaced?? Why can't they just re-surface them. has anybody had their rotors resurfaced? i only have 35K miles and would rather just resurface and save money rather than replace. Thanks in advance!!!

where did you see it?! maybe i can get some goodies off of it!!
as far as the brakes i'm gonna get the Mintex redbox and Zimmerman rotors for $350 total for all 4!!! Yea!!!!!!!!!!!

If the rotors are down to the minimum thickness or very close to it.....
....you can't resurface them as they'll be too thin and thus more prone to warping.
