Where can I find my Frequency for my remote. I am buying one off of ebay and want to know where in my car it is listed. I never actually had a remote though, but the dealer said I have the capability

as far as i know all audi a4's after like 96 or 97 had it installed factory.

"Mine is MZ241081964" what is the remote you have? The only way to find out is to try it. You'll have to program the remote to the car first.

I cant find where in the car it says my ID. my car did not come with a convienence package. Is is by the spare tire? I checked and saw no FCC ID

it takes like 2 minutes. And it will save you the time of hunting around. i don't even know if the fcc id is listed somewhere on the car.

you are goign to have to track down someone who has seen the control module so you can check to make sure you have it.

I don't know if that one digit difference matters for the remote. Sorry I coulnt be of much help.
