Default 10w-30 is the most stable M1 oil...

The smaller the spread (betw. the first number and the second number), the more stable the oil, which means the 10w-30 is more likely to stay in SAE30 grade as opposed to thinning out to a SAE20 or thickening up to SAE40 (thickening's very unusual though).

Default oh I drive mine like I stole it and I only burned in the first 5,000miles...

I am saying that I have seen it for myself... chicago gets colder and has been colder than 25-35 and I drive 22,000 a year. Mobil 1 0w40 each fill up, 56,000 mile, no burning, and I drive it like I stole it...

so I am just saying I have seen it for myself and since it is not a problem for me, it cannot be made an absolute... waseen should get his **** checked out... IIRC, audi recommends 0w40.

Default As I said in my attached post to you, get Mobil 1 0w40 at Reit Lubricants Co in Warminster.

If you can't make it there, you'll find it at AutoZone. And, buy the OEM filter from a dealer.
