Default AFAIK, can't have it with push-down reverse.

My 98.5 car had a push-down reverse feature, and when I added the Neuspeed SS, the "feature" went away. Just as well. I don't like it anyway.
The shifter feels much more solid without all those extra moving parts.

Default from what i know, there are 2 kits.

one is made for those with the push-down reverse and the other if for those without. prices are more expensive for those with push-down. either way, it does away with the push-down feature. i have the neuspeed on mine.

Default Here's how I understand it...

In the older cars with push-down reverse, Neuspeed takes the OEM shifter boxes from the newer cars WITHOUT pushdown reverse, and builds their kit around that. Just like the UUC, it has a longer linkage below the pivot, and also has a shorter shaft. Neuspeed is able to get shorter throws because they eliminate the push-down feature, and they have more room to work with for a longer linkage. The shorter shaft is just icing on the cake.

The newer cars which already have the newer style shift box do not require a whole new box. I haven't seen the kits for the newer cars, but I would assume that it is just a replacement shifter rod.
I would assume that you could also replace the whole box, but then you are paying for parts which you do not need.

Again, I only have experience with my 98.5 car. I am only guessing about the info for the newer cars.
