Where can I get some cheap G12+
Cheapest found online so far is like $30 plus $15 shipping for a total of 1.5Lx3=4.5 liters. That's right, $45 dollar just to replace the freaking coolant on a thermostat job.
Or should I forget about the purple and just use pink G12(what I have right now). It'a like 24 for 4.5 liter shipped.

I just paid $8.99 for fully concentrated Mercedes/Xerex G-05. Hybrid Organic Acid Tech like G-12+.
Should only take 1G. I'd send you some at cost but if you need it tomorrow, I'd just use WalMart SUPERTECH, $7. Same as G-12. They have the distilled water you need too.

So the yellow Xerox G05= Purple G12+(HOAT)

Pink/Red G12 = Dexcool(OAT)
and since G12+ is compatible with G12, does that mean I can top off G12 with G05?

I buy it from Philsinc.com since they are local to me...
I thought the 1.5 liter bottles were about $13 can't really remember. Small family owned business. And no I am not related to them.

Phils Inc

Recommended top-off for G-12 is Dexcool as per Rad Mfg Assn. If Audi says top G-12 w/ G-12+, ok but
I'd hold off on over-mixing unless totally needed. I'm just being conservative, even though it contradicts what I have posted. I do not think there is a problem, coolants are 99% the same. Universal coolants are on the market that are just Dexcool. I would just pick one and stick with it. This article may help.
****, I lost the link when I switched computers, search MOTOR Magazine + Dexcool.
