Where do I install the passive crossover for the new 5.25" front speakers?
I have tried 4 different locations for the passive crossover inside the door trim but then can't get the trim onto the door.
Where have you guys installed your passive crossovers? By the way, the speakers are Infinity Kappa 50.5cs.

my spot...
pull off the dash under the steering wheel, and you will see a bunch of fuses/relays etc on a plastic board to the left of the steering column. There is a open space that will fit a crossover. stack both of them with double sided tape and tape them to the board. Using a long piece of duct tape or the like, put the x-overs in the middle of the tape, and tape the front of the top x-over and fold the rest of the tape over itself. use this to tie a knot around the board, very tightly. You could also use zip ties, but this will be more secure. If you have settings on the crossovers, test everything before you re-assemble the dash.
