Default Where to find a belly pan for 2000 A4 2.8L Q?

I have been looking on this site and notice conversation around the passat W8 belly pan that it might work on our cars for a considerable amount less? I called the dealer and they are telling me it won't work.. Any Suggestions? The $195 Audi part tag seems to be a bit steep for a piece of plastic. Thanks!

or try ECS tuning for W8 pan (inexpensive, (but buy some filters, etc. as shipping is $ high)

Default So the 03 passat W8 will work?

I also found this url but I am not sure if this would be cheaper than the dealer. It is located about 1/2 way down the pg. Pt: ES#5321 for $55.95.<ul><li><a href="http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?make=Audi&amp;engine=V6%2012v&amp ;model=B5%20A4&amp;submodel=FWD&amp;category=Exter ior">http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?make=Audi&amp;engine=V6%2012v&amp ;model

Default yes, that will work. make sure you have enough fasteners... they sell them individually or as kit

the kit is cheaper than buying peice-meal.

Default You should buy the W8 pan at the dealer...

By the time you pay for shipping at ECS or WorldImpex, it will be almost double the price! You can get the pan at the VW dealer typcially for around $66.97..that is what it lists for. The part number is: 3B7 825 235 A It should come with the hardware, but the following is what is needed to mount the bellypan..you decide on what you need in terms of that. It's about $10 worth of parts below.
4 x CLIP - 4A0 805 163
3 x DOWEL - 8D0 805 121
3 x RUBBER WASHER - 4A0 805 137

Default my guess would be because the all road is " all road" so a reinforced belly pan would

protect the bottom end of the engine even more
