I've considered swapping in S4 leather/Alcantera or however that stuff is spelled. I have a lead on a set locally.
Yes they are very very rare. What color are you looking for?

Im not to sure what they are worth to me. I imagine they are worth a shiney penny since they are rare. Just trying to get an idea since i hate the stock pleather seats that always rip. Either cloth sport seats or maybe some Recaro SRD's.

After seeing what happened to "BitJockey" I don't want to give up the side airbags for a little sportier seat. The sport seats are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better than the pleather ones it's sad they even put the pleather things in the car.
If nothing else the adjustable lumbar support and longer thigh support make the seats worth every penny.
They normally go for $350-450 a set plus shipping. Sometimes if you hold out long enough you'll find them for less. Some of the material is a funky pattern and sort of ugly/almost 80's looking... be sure you see a picture of the seats before you buy them. I have the "herringbone" sort of pattern tweed(ish) material... I love it.

$350 is alot less than a pair of $600 Recaro's. Do the sport seats swap right in? I have non power, non heated right now. It would be a little while before I had $350 min. to drop on seats. Maybe by/for xmas.

To be honest I will probably be a long time as there are certainly other more important things in the works. But you never know, if the S4 I have my eyes on gets parted out like it's supposed be soon........ well, I may have several things from my Avant to be sold off, some much bigger than seats. MMwwahhhaaa! ;-P
