Default I use a craftsman orbital

It works just fine, without leaving any swirls.

Default I do it all by hand but have had a friend who knows what he is doing take a machine buffer ...

to my car. It looked great when he was done. He used some four step process, it took him about six hours.

Not sure on the brand name of the buffer but he was telling me something about the 'special' buffing pads he used.
