Who knew one could take a month and a half to do a 180k mile maintenance :-P

It's running OK...
still haven't gotten it on the rollers to get a really good tune on it, but it did survive 2 days of abuse at VIR at the end of April, so that says something! Saying that actually reminded me that I needed to book a time at the local dyno, so thanks :-P Next wed at 12 she'll be hitting the rollers for a solid 14psi tune as well as a 20psi tune. Hoping for around 300 crank out of the 20psi tune
Only thing I have a big gripe with is that I'm having issues w/ my boxster calipers and having one causing a hum/groan at certain speeds, which is driving me up a wall to be honest... otherwise, it's been towing my boat fine and I have about 13k+ on the motor now! She gets finiky at times when first starting up and driving slowly the for the first 10 min or so, but that again is a retune that I need to handle.
A 450hp 4k would be money. I've seen it done before with the 20vt I5, but not sure anyone has shoe-horned a 2.7tt into one. I've seen a couple coupe quattros w/ it though, and they put down some serious rubber! So do it Only issues these typ85s have in my mind are their lack of power, otherwise it's a great and LIGHT platform! My 4000 clocks in at 2900lbs w/ full interior and a full tank of gas... that ain't too bad! That being said, I still wouldn't want to get into a serious accident with it as it still has the crumble like a coke can feel to it at times :-P

Ha
I didnt see who actually started this thread until after I saw a Graphite 4000 sneaking its head out in one of the pictures. I noticed it had a 5 lug wheel and was about to post something about it, but then I saw it was Justin :P
Nice work! Id rather work on one of the boat anchor V6's than the Bi-turbo motor, thats for sure.
