Default Who knows how to get the amber bulbs out of the corners in a 2000 A4?

i can't seem to figure this out. it's not like on the pre 1999 models where the corner is separate. do you have to remove the whole lighting assembly or can you just remove the bulbs? the Bentley manual only applied to pre '99 cars and i can't seem to fit my fingers in that little space in the corner of the engine compartment. HELP! i have the bulbs and i want to put them in! please post or email any instructions. thanks

Default You can't get clear corners on 99.5+ models unless you get a whole new lamp assembly (more)

This is because the headlight assemblies are now one piece...headlights and corners in one. There are some people here that are trying to figure out how to get the orange reflector out of these which would make them clear, so we are all anxiously waiting. Otherwise, it'll cost about $300+ for the new European spec. lights. Congrats on the new A4 though!

i think you have to remove the whole headlamp assembly, then access the bulb from the back.

Default an answer to your question.

you won't need to get those bosch clear corners because the headlight housing is one piece. all you need to do is find some clear bulbs. i got mine at Shucks. you could probably find them at any car store. this comes as a suprise but the bulbs are actualy common on domestic cars. look for 3157. you can't miss them. they have a waffle clip and have 2 filaments.
