who makes audi cd changer ? and if i get alpine or kenwood deck would it work wit that changer?

if it has cd changer control? if not is there as way to make it work? or do i just have to get same brand radio as the changer the car has.

So, if you plan on changing your headunit anyway...hold off don't buy the Panasonic compatible changer now, because you won't be able to use it on any non-Panasonic head unit down the road. If you really want to get a Panasonic now, buy one from Clairparts or some other mailorder place, and resell it when you replace the headunit and changer. You'll get about 1/2 what you paid for it new.

it's a 98.5 model...you need to buy a converter that connects between the changer and the factory installed wire in the trunk. If you go to a car stereo place they should be able to tell you what you need.
